Value

I’m not very valuable by the world’s standards.

When I feel small, I feel scared.

When I’m reminded where my true value lies, I feel courageous.  When I’m feeling courageous, fear disappears and love starts to grow.  Courage helps all areas of your life, even your libido.

I know it’s been said that fear and love can’t coexist.  But, I wonder if fear just smothers love.  The potential for love is always there, we just have to move the down pillow of fear from love’s face.

God loves you.  When you give yourself permission to accept God’s love through Christ in spite of some not-so-great-actually-pretty-horrible past actions, the Holy Spirit will cause tremendous hope to well up in your heart.

Listen to this analogy of your value by Chad Prather.

(Chad Prather has become a viral sensation because of his Truck Cab Philosophizing.  This Texas cowboy is host on Ride TV’s, It’s My Backyard.    Ride TV is not a sex channel, even though it’s ripe for innuendo.  “Ride TV is one of the leading horse shows cable television network dedicated to the horse culture and lifestyle,” according to ridetv.com.)
