Bedroom Soundtrack 3.2015

My husband and I realized a few years ago that our sons were at an age where memories would mean more than any material item we could give them.

That was when we quit giving Christmas presents and started giving Christmas experiences.  This year’s experience was a day in the everglades on an airboat.  We chose a company that was Native American, Miccosukee, so that we could visit some of the islands in their tribal lands.

Above is sparkling water near the Big Cypress National Preserve.  We visited an animal rehabilitation island.  The alligator I am holding has a malformed front flipper and a hump in his spine.  He is docile and would never survive in the wild.  He has one job now, smile pretty for the camera.

Getting get back to Wednesday’s Bedroom Soundtrack, this is why I offer eclectic music suggestions for your bedroom playlist.

Today, in honor of the Native Americans who showed us hospitality, I offer you traditional Pow-Wow Drum Music.
